Is there anything that actually confirms Bellingham leaves this summer? Could he possibly stay at Dortmund for another season?

Maybe an outside chance but could still be possible, and we could pursue him next summer instead. The guy is only 19 so would only be 20 next summer.

The bus won’t wait for nobody. He will leave IMO. His head is turned and it looks like City will get him with Real shifting to Gvardiol.

Maybe but he’d still be 120-150m like everyone knew 12 months ago don’t think he would count as homegrown either.

A further year down on his contract and we could be back in CL football by that point as well, so additional money would be there.

Bring in Barella and McAllister this summer with Bellingham next summer.

If Bellingham goes to City does that put City even further ahead of us?

If he was meant to be the big phenom for us then what does that make him for City?

Would it be a case of us back where we are competing for top 4 like we were in the Rafa years over competing for league titles.

We knew the price. We written off a full season for him.
9th in January whilst the window was open and didn’t sign a midfielder. Sign one or two in summer, finish 4th and play it off like a big achievement. Said it months and months ago nothings changed.

Capital Income-Ed is sure that Gvardiol would choose LFC over any other club if the money is paid.
We could really do with players that desire LFC more than any other.
We can see how well signing mercenaries goes for Chelsea over the coming years.

Bascombe-

One of the reasons Liverpool are backing out early is they are unsure if Bellingham will leave this summer, and cannot afford to be drawn into a summer saga and bidding war with clubs if he does move. Klopp wants his business completed as soon as possible.

Is this a wait another season until JB has only 1 year left on his contract?

We didn't go into the season with the intention of writing it off. Klopp was happy with the midfield options and passed up opportunities to sign a new midfielder in both the summer and winter transfer windows. That gamble didn't pay off and we are where we are now because of it.
