I am one of those that will be celebrating if Everton go down and I will certainly be having a few fine continental lagers on the day, whilst belting out some songs of rivalries of days gone by.
Hans Segers once ruined what was destined to be a memorable weekend for me, and I can’t deny that seeing Pickford go down would bring me no end of joy!
To be fair though Ed 025 you are a decent fella and bring good craic to this page and I hope the banter continues and that Moshiri sells up for your sake.

{Ed025's Note - i dont have a problem with that hughesy, all is fair in love and footy mate and i will be around for a bit longer even if we go down, years ago i would have been devastated but not so much these days as the game doesn,t mean as much to me as it did...22 overpaid prima-donnas kicking a pigs bladder around just doesn,t cut it for me anymore...but maybe thats just me feeling sorry for myself..

To be fair even the Derbies have become crap games these days. The vitriol from the fans is one thing but the game itself has become toxic too with Everton just being overly physical and Liverpool just trying to get through the game without too many injuries.
Maybe a bit of time apart will do us some good. Absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that.

Maybe that’s Everton’s problem. Still kicking a pigs bladder around. Everyone else has moved on and kick around modern balls.

A season in the championship might reignite your love for the game Ed. Less of those prima donnas you mentioned. Oh and you might win some games which always helps.

{Ed025's Note - i think we will struggle in the championship STE, but with the calibre of our squad thats where we belong, with a possible transfer embargo, points deduction and a massive fine it certainly wont be easy mate, plus other teams in there will want this once great clubs scalp so im not very optimistic i must say..

They should get the points deduction over and done with now I reckon! ??.

{Ed025's Note - i dont think thats up to us marty..

Have City ever had a transfer embargo and points deduction?

I suppose in their defence they only broke the rules over 100 times.

So a good telling off would be suffice.

Citeh are still under investigation aren’t they - it’s being going on for years.

Well if they are going after Everton for suspicious transactional behaviour it doesn't bode well for City and Newcastle just being able to hide it better doesn't and should never be able to cut it, and simply restricting they're transfer activity stinks of beauracracy.

Didn’t Citeh get banned from Europe for about half an hour until the ‘wacky baccy’ ran out at UEFA headquarters and they all remembered where the money comes from?

Relatively speaking, Newcastle haven’t gone overboard yet. Not sure if that’s because Staveley and the boys are really very nice people, or because they are biding their time in the hope that everybody will stop looking. Or maybe it’s because the transfer team actually work on the ‘right player at the right price’ theory that is so popular on this board.

{Ed002's Note - Newcastle has a huge fin dial advantage. I don’t understand why you want to discuss all of theis on the Liverpool page.}
