Just some thoughts I had, see if you guys agree.
Our signings haven't been of the caliber of Chelsea and not so long ago man united, Caicedo, Casemiro etc.
We do tend to find value in the market, one thing maybe some of us have lost focus on is klopp's ability to make a player so much more.
Who among us thought Henderson, watching his first 18 months at the club, would go on to captain us to a champions league final and a premier league title.

Food for thought?

Indeed, Snoots. Our ability to find good value for players we sign is one of the best in the PL under Klopp and even before, I wager. If we are trying to match Chelsea and Utd for spending money on "shiny new toys" (for the absolute duds both teams have suffered recently), we would be out at sea without a paddle.

After all the chit chat on Endo over the past couple of days, I am definitely intrigued (and hopeful) to watch him play now.
One thing is for certain, Klopp leads his charges to water.
Whether they choose to drink it is up to them though.
As a manager/ coach he can do no more than that.
You can rightly criticise some failures to cut his losses (Keita for instance) but it probably goes against the essence of Klopp and what he stands for.
The perfect person doesn't exist but I think he is still the perfect man for Liverpool FC.

I think we confuse “ value in the market” with klopps ability to improve . There is not many players we have signed that have not improved under his leadership.

Signings not the calibre of Chelsea? I think you mean we don't buy as many players or pay as much money. Recent signings Diaz, Nunez, Gakpo, Mac and Szob would be in Chelseas first eleven.

Chelsea are building a impressive squad with lots of highly talented young players. They are going to be a scary team with all this talent and a good manager in Poch.
