Gomez at his best is a superb CB. Think how good he was at home to Man City last year. Unfortunately he just hasn't developed into a consistent Performer and he's definitely lost some pace to his injuries.

Oh yeah. I was surprised how Tonali raced past him yesterday. 2019-20 Gomez would have outsped him from a yard back. Miss that Gomez pace.

That was a wonderful game to be an away fan, what a finish as nf all the goals right in front of us.

I couldn’t see us scoring before Jota and Elliott came on but Nunez’s finishes were superb.

I’m disgusted with the standard of refereeing.
No way should VVD have seen red I’d appeal that one if I thought the FA would be fair. No chance they’ll rescind 2 red cards for Liverpool in the same month.

Not a mission that Red card is getting overturned. Virgil clips his heel before following thru and making contact with the ball. Inside the box it’s a penalty these days.

I have to agree. It's harsh but well within the rules that he sees red for that challenge. I'd just take the one game suspension and move on from it.
