Isn’t it strange how Liverpool have been on the receiving end of so many “wrong decisions” with var and refs since Howard Webb took charge of the head of referees. A Man United fan after all!

They should. They've got to be accountable.

I've had time to think, I thought Diaz was onside, at the time and I haven't seen anything to change my mind. It was an unbelievable decision.

The Jones red: it was unintentional but very dangerous. It could be a red because he's gone over the ball. At the time, I thought yellow.

Jota: the first yellow was incorrect but the second stupid.

But what is getting missed because of all the other ridiculous decisions is the 'challenge' on Gomez. Gomez gets a touch before being taken out by the Spurs player. The Spurs MIGHT get a touch on the ball but he's already gone through Gomez. It wasn't thoroughly checked!

I'm not suggesting corruption and I don't know who would benefit from any corruption but it's gross incompetence and the officials definitely aim to cover each others' backs sometimes at the expense of getting the right decision.

VAR is not fit for purpose. I can live with mistakes in real time but not when people have the time to see a mistake.

Okay, you can try to avoid using the word corruption because it's very heavy in implications. But there's a clear agenda driven set of actions, here. Especially, and specifically, the offside call.

They're killing the game. Taking all the enjoyment out of it. Bunch of incompetent crooks.

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but if audio did come out, unless it’s been timestamped somehow, it won’t be the actual audio of what happened.
