Well, he plays DM and can play CB, is an Under 21 German International and is well thought of, Jorg said so when he was at RBL, so its not that random a name. Guess I could have asked you about Valverde for the thousandth time.

It’s a random name in the sense there was and is no links anywhere between player and Liverpool. Your subjective logic to make connections doesn’t make it any less objectively random.

But that implies I can only ask the Ed's about a player once a link to that player has been established in the media, which doesn't make much sense. As Jorg talked about him on German radio and as he plays in positions we have interest in then, call me old fashioned, I thought it was worth asking.
