Hi Ed02,

I know plan A would be not to sell Salah, but I'm sure like any professional business we must be at least considering what we'd do if a 'cannot refuse' offer came in. Do you have any idea if Liverpool might be workshopping a 'pull this ripcord' plan B and who we might consider going for if we got a price we simply had to sell at?

I'd hate to see him go, but it does worry me if there's a 120m+ bid that comes in and Salah is insisting he wants to go, we'd at least be considering it.

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool have certainly considered their options but making a signing this late in the transfer window, with no prior discussions, makes it very difficult as clubs do not have the time to find replacements. There are suitable replacements, obviously not like-for-like, that could be added - but some where interest has been shown are off elsewhere.}
