The same scenario that happened to us on final day of last season losing 6-1 to Stoke, is the same thing going to happen to POCHETTINO next season with him losing 5-1 to newcastle who only had 10 men. That is to me a worse loss than us at Stoke, if i was POCHETTINO i would be worried.

On another note that loss at Stoke 6-1 final game of last season, bet no one would of thought after the Stoke game last year that our last game this year would be a European final how things can change, thanks Jurgen.

I mean our league form hasn't been that impressive. One day we play great, the next poor. Though I am still very excited for next campaign. I'm just trying to stay grounded. The Europa league has us all nervous for Wednesday. If we win, this season will be a success. If we lose? Hmm.

Am I the only one who think Spurs have been fairly average this season? They've received loads of plaudits but have ultimately finished with 70pts which would normally be 4th, 5th place. I think they've benefitted from the usual suspects being dire this season, us included. If we win the Europa league then for me we've had a much better season than them in the grand scheme of things.

You have to wonder how good Spurs actually are, are they not just benefiting from the general poor quality of the league this year. Like Leicester have.

007, no need to try to relativize both results as they were both horrible. The big difference you fail to point out is that Spurs had a great season overall and Poch just got an extension. The Stoke defeat was more devastating to us and BR as his job was on the line and he should have been fired right after the final whistle. But not complaining as we now have Klopp and he is all ours.

I don't think the league has been poor this year I think all the lesser teams have improved and will continue to do so with the silly money in the league now imo gone are the days of teams running away with the league that is unless pep is as good as everyone thinks!
