Hello Ed002 seeing as you are around, I would like your opinion on where FSG stand with regards to this mess with VVD? It is being reported that it was FSG's decision to issue the public apology and withdraw interest in the player which you said earlier was the poorest thing to do in the circumstance.

I have seen your replies where you say Liverpool and Klopp need to get their act together, but too many of these issues have happened prior to Klopp (Suarez issues under Rodgers and Kenny Dalglish for example, Jen Chang another one) and earlier this year I asked you if you think Edwards was the right man for the job and you said something along the lines like you don't think so.

My question, shouldn't FSG be more professional with putting the right people in places in the management so that they then act professionally instead of taking punts as they have done throughout their 7 years here? I mean, LFC have more tapping up complaints against them and issued more public apologies, and have changed more managers than won trophies during FSG's time here.

{Ed002's Note - It is not the poorest thing to do, but it is embarrassing, hits the reputation hard and means loss of face. THeir biggest concern will be reputation right now and in the past they have acted to remove the likes of Chang.}

Ag, my post above was written before I had read your post. You articulated the point I was trying to make better then me!

We are a shambles and my guess is it's down to poor recruitment in senior positions.

We need an experienced football person to deal with all transfers to take back some control. This person should be the only person to speak to other clubs and open up negotiations.
