20 goal striker?!?!

He's struggle to get 3rd in our top scorer list come the end of the season! 😂

Don't care where the goals come from, as long as they keep coming!

And everyone who wanted that striker was right.

Salah was signed as a 15 goal a season winger not a 40 goal a season worldly. At the time a top striker with firmino in the ten would of made us stronger.

I still don't think Bobby is that striker. When's the last time he won us a game with his GOALS. When did he score a goal that meant anything. He's always tagging along. Never the first.

I love him and will get a world record amount of dislikes for this but if salah goes back to normal next year and hit 15 and contributes in less assist. Then I would like a striker signed.

I just don't understand the hate for firmino at the ten position. He practically plays it now. It could be a complete free role. Press the defence and help defending. Make pass. Use tricks. Work his ass off. Still get goals but have another work horse striker up top who is a little more clinical. So if salah does go back to what his very good but normal outlay is about 15 goals or gets injured we have more options and can really take on that city side who alongside Jesus, aguero, sane, Silva, De bryune, sterling, Bernard. Are probably going to add even more and we have just 3 players up top. That's it.

I would love griezman and hey if he signed he could play ten behind Bobby and they could just tandem and cover each other for whoever has fallen back to retrieve the ball.

You can't honestly say that you wouldn't wet your pants over the following

Hendo Keita
Salah griezzman mane
Bobby

Come on now. By the way Bobby is one of my absolute all time favourite players. He's a god amongst men for me but I do feel as a team we could be stronger.

Let's not forget Europe is our home. So success there is nt a defining feature. Where built for it. But the prem is nearly 30 years now and we are behind United and city. We have spurs up our hoops. Still haven't secured top 4 football. So we are not the finished article.

United will add as will city and the number one rule is strengthen at your strongest. Proactive not reactive.

I hope you can look past the immediate anger and hate you will feel when first starting this comment.

{Ed001's Note - have you watched Griezmann play? He is incredibly inconsistent and has been terrible for most of this season. I would not be the slightest bit excited about him in the team messing up the current chemistry.}

No anger or hate whatsoever. Just wondering why you're so intent on fixing something that is not broken? We have enough issues in trying to improve the team, but changing Firmino's position is not one of them.

YIKES! Thanks Joey. For a while there, I thought you were serious. Of course we will add and will be stronger, man no doubt. As for Griezmann, Ed is correct. He seems to be more pre-occupied with where he wants to play and how much he wants to get paid than actually focus on his game this season as he has been poor in comparison to the last 3 seasons at AM. Would not want him here esp. not on those wages cos I'f rather we give those wages to our front 3 than some mercenary.

Murphy's 1st law, don't fix it if it ain't broke.

Bobby is the heartbeat of our attack, his vision, pressing and tackling high up the pitch is the reason Salah is having the season of his life.

As for ed? Ed be chilled and just answer did you want oxlade? Did yu have concerns over vvds attitude? Did you have concerns over manes attitude? Did you want Robertson?

Do you have slight concerns over Keitas attitude.

This is klopps house. Griezman for example plays in the most anti negative footballing side on the planet, effective and needed but not set up to help him flourish.

Why look at the potential negative of griezman on our boys and not the potential positive from our boys on him. 1 man vs 24 all on board with one way of working?

Griezman is not happening but I don't think there is many that could effect this group nor not improve in it. Every single player now is better, salah went from 15 to nearly 50 in a season. Imagine half that impact on Antoine griezman haha

As for why break any chemistry. I did give my reason. Streghen at your strongest. Don't live off the back of this season whatever happens. Keep your top players hungry. Give them more weapons and properly support klopp to take on city and all there millions.

A striker/ winger, cm and cb and where golden. We already have Keita Aswel. 4 a season should always be signed.

{Ed001's Note - 4 is too many for starters, for second you strengthen your weakest point to bring it up, not strengthen your strongest point. You sound like Wenger over the last few years. As for the beginning, I do not see the relevance, Griezmann is nothing like any of those and each person should be taken as separate. I look at the negative because there is absolutely no positive to him, he is simply not good enough to improve the first team and so it is a waste of money to buy him when there are hundreds out there who will.}

Sorry joey but that has to be one of the most ridiculous posts I've ever read. What you have basically said is "we need a 20+ striker and although Firmino has scored 20+ goals, I don't think he is the answer" . Behave. Do you actually watch the games or just the highlights? Because Bobby not only scores tonnes of goals but he creates them too. He wins the ball. Makes space for others with his unselfish runs. He is more than just a striker and I can't think of many who will be able to offer what he does.

You want a 20+ striker. Firmino has scored over 25 goals and will probably end up with 30 but he is not good enough. Would you rather swap him for someone who scores less goals than him?
