Renato Sanches playing style reminds me a lot of Chamberlain. I believe that we are going after both Renato as a replacement for Chamberlain, in addition to Bissouma. Which means that Chamberlain wants out to get more regular games. If true our homegrown quota will further suffer.

Is the ACON not this year? Salah and mane both gone for a month if so, surely the priority has to be bringing in another forward to support what we have. Orgi isn't upto carrying the club for a month in my opinion, the younh kid elliot will be out on loan I'd imagine, that leaves us with bobby and jota, and possibly AOC who's fitness isn't reliable. This season was derailed by injuries and serious chance of it being derailed again this season by not strenghting in the right department. That's all providing ACON goes ahead

I know it's not a simple as that, but everyone seems fixated on bring more midfielders in and we will be losing 2 forwards (are main 2 ) in Jan.

OP, where did you get this idea that Renato Sanches and Ox are alike? I don't see that at all.

Jota, Firmino, Harvey Elliott + Origi
Is still good enough for a month of so, of course it’d be great if that read:
Jota, Firmino, Conan/ New winger/ striker, Elliott (on the bench) .

Origi won’t start ahead of Harvey Elliott next season (if both are still at the club) .

I can see us signing otavio (can play in midfield or as a wide forward so is versatile), Bissoma and a winger.

Then shaq, Origi, keita, Phillips, Tsimikas/ neco, grujic, Wilson. Then Elliot out in loan (if we sign an otavio kind of player)

Moreton_Red, I think Conan, The Barbarian is in his 70's now and prolly will not be signing for us anytime soon. Now Conan O'Brien (the comedian and talkshow host) on the other hand? Well worth a look.

Moreton red I disagree mate. Jota and Bobby I'm more than happy with, what if one of them are injured or suspended? Harvey elliot by all accounts has done wonders at Blackburn on loan, but to the burden of covering salahs goal contribution or even manes for that matter is a lot of pressure on a kid so young. For me orgi is only a bit part player he hasn't been good enough to fill voids in the past (scored big goals yes but the drop off is to big with him) . We need to bring in a versatile forward who can cover all 3 positions which would enable us to bleed elliot in at the right pace and I the right games.
