Well he was already going to be here for two more years under the previous contract. They simply added one more year to it, with an optional year after that. Undoubtedly, along with a raise in wages, to ensure he feels loved enough.

We are kind of offering everyone a new deal which means we are not going to be spending much and this team is going to be together 2 more years atleast.
