Anyone hear anything about Diaz being out until March? Not a great for season for him if he's going to miss the most of it.

According to Colombian media he is to have surgery tomorrow, was so looking forward to having him back too! We are either cursed or I would be double checking our medical staff because our players get injured and never seem to recover? Genuine question, Is this a regular occurrence in other teams or is there an issue with our training, fitness or medical dep?

Did we not poach Arsenal's medical staff? the most alarming aspect is not the fact they get injuries, its the fact they are getting long term injuries and are missing for months at a time.

Luiz Diaz will be a massive loss to the first team and him being missing until march will have a devastating impact on our ability to finish in the top 4.

Absolutely brilliant. Apparently he didn’t require surgery a couple of months back when he initially got injured. Was passed fit to fully train and had a ‘reaction’ which turns out he requires surgery and is out until March at the earliest. Just brilliant!

There’s a brand new club Dr in now too and as ed1 said previously, there’s no way he wasn’t sent to a knee specialist when this first happened so I wouldn’t necessarily lay all the blame on the club’s medical dept.
