There are so many moaners on this site at the moment. Yes our revenues have increased, but in conjunction with that are wages are the 2nd highest in the PL. These moaners used to complain we couldn't sign the top players because we wouldn't pay the high wages required to get these players but you never hear these moaners compliment the owners, it's all doom and gloom. There are 3 midfield positions up for grabs. We seemed to have found a kid who can play DM and we have Tiago so that leaves one position free and we have 6 players available for that position.
Our issues are 2 fold we concede to many stupid goals mainly from Trents side and we have lost 3 experienced fowards to injury.
An adjustment in tactics and getting some of the injured back and I can see us going on a great unbeaten run.

Unbeaten run is useless we need wins.
Thiago are you sure? Part of the problem for me.
Trent is just about our most important player going forward.
The kid is not ready to play that position week in week out he needs help.
As many questions as answers.

Think we are all victim or at least the majority of us are to the odd moan, It’s human nature. I fell victim to it earlier today. 100% right though we have no god given right to win every game. That’s never been a thought of mine or the majority of the supporters on the forum. I think it’s the manner in which we have been defeated this season that took most of us by surprise not the defeat itself, although of course that’s disappointing. I honestly don’t mind drawing or losing the odd games here and there as you long as you see some pattern of play, cohesion but importantly fight and spirit or even just the basics in terms of passing etc and to be honest all of the above have been missing for most of the season and we are fast approaching February now just to add some context. This is what has caught us all of guard. Not to mention the drop in form from nearly all the players has been strangest thing I have seen from our team in a while, especially when you consider the quality we know a lot of our players posses, minus the midfield of course. Usually 1 or 2 players are off form and the rest are playing well. Or you can go a step further and say maybe 3 or 4 but to have 9 players out of the first team dramatically underperforming for the length of time they have has been concerning, which I’m sure even you can agree on that.

But come rain or shine, highs or lows I will support the club I love. That is non negotiable and never in doubt. Been here through the days of qualifying for the Champions League being seen as the holy grail. There was a period when we had to watch our Europa Cup against teams none of us had ever heard of on Channel 5 with John Barnes in the studio hosting (dark times that was) . Sometimes we didn’t even qualify for Europe at all. Qualifying for the Champions League was not a given until a certain Jürgen Norbert Klopp, literally the best thing to happen to our club took over. Before he arrived challenging for the title never crossed our minds.

Having said all that I am with you on hard work and graft. The boys need to show us fight and spirit, which is all we can ask for and the rest should fall into place alongside going back to the basics. Also I do see good times are ahead. We have a number of players returning in a few weeks. Still in the FA Cup and with the Champions League anything could happen as we seem to do well in that competition. If we can put a little run together in the league we can gain some momentum, which will give us the confidence to push on from there. Let’s start with a win against Brighton!
