Ed002, given that Ward's role at Ajax has now been confirmed, are we any closer to recruiting his replacement?

Do you think we'll have someone in soon or will it be mid-late summer to avoid any muddying of waters with Ward?

{Ed002's Note - It is unrelated to Ward. As I have explained, Liverpool has a alist of options and sounded out three or possibly four of them. I am not aware of any changes in that respect just yet.}

Meant to ask this when your replied to this topic a few days ago Ed. you wouldn't mention names, (understandably so) so I wanted to at least get your opinion on them? I do appreciated your football knowledge, so would you rate the targets we have. Do you think they would fit in at LFC and have enough balls to make a difference by standing up to Klopp.

I don't have any real evidence to back this up, but I get the impression that the sudden departures of Ward and Graham are down to Klopp pushing for names that he personally likes, and not listening to their input as much. If we miss out on Bellingham after all this time, and all of the damage that it has caused, then I don't know where that leaves the manager. It would be an unforgiveable lapse in judgement.
