Eds, a quick question. I have searched, but cannot find anything definitive.

With Henderson and Fabinho all but confirmed as leaving, are the club looking at bringing in two CM options?

There was confirmed interest in Lavia prior to these two moves happening, so with two more going, it would seem at least two more need to come in.

If so, would both be defensive minded players?

{Ed002's Note - I remain of the opinion the club will look to a CM and a DM - the club have been looking at such players for months so they will not be signing more midfield players than that and I would expect the club to take account of their versatility - and they have been doing that with some they have looked at. They still desire a CB if possible - although no-one has suggested that perhaps it is time for Billy Koumetio or Jarell Quansah to at least provide cover.}

Thanks ED. So maybe a Doucoure type and then a Thuram type who can cover a variety of positions. That makes a lot of sense.

I hope a CB comes in, although both those options seem promising youngsters.

A CM and a DM Ed002 you say. Do you know anything of the often-linked-to-Liverpool Zielinski's future atm or Amrabat? I believe experienced players are required right now and they'd fit the bill.

{Ed002's Note - I have previously answered but Piotr Zielinski (CM) will be available in the summer but at 29 he may no longer be of interest to Liverpool. Agent wants Middle East. Lazio want a bargain.
Sofyan Amrabat (DM/CM) Fiorentina were expecting to lose money on a sale but an excellent World Cup has changed that. Spurs contacted Fiorentina through a third party to take him as an Ndombele replacement in the summer, and Liverpool, Barcelona and Nice have had scouts watch him and have spoken with his representatives, but seemingly not Fiorentina yet. His repressentatives walked out on a discussion with Liverpool due to something Klopp said in January and if they wish to revive interest they will need to resolve that. Fiorentina reported Barcelona for making a direct approach to Amrabat in January but they have patched things up and something may be possible. Agent has spoken with Arsenal and Chelsea as well. The player says he wants to move to Barcelona or Atletico Madrid and I understand that Atletico Madrid are keen to strike a deal. West Ham give an unlikely option. A whatif answer may be PSG if they appoint Mr Mourinho as their new coach. A wildcard option will be Inter Milan who are looking to replace Brozovic and will guarantee a starting place for him.}

Maybe I'm pushing the boat out, and he hasn't played any football this year, but I always thought Isco was a relable midfielder. Would he not be an option Ed?

I think we need 3 midfielders more. Trent looks like he’s going to play there so that makes it 2.
A DM is priority. We could also seriously do with a Central Defender

Ed if you’re not busy. A question I’ve not seen asked yet.
Have Liverpool looked at any Right Back options?
Sent scouts out etc?

I do like the look of Bradley but he’s obviously raw, I’m wondering if we’re looking at any “out and out” right back options, not versatile players that can say (do a job) in that position.
