Just like to reiterate an earlier poster.

Nothing official has come out and leaks are being stamped on.

Lets wait until the US contingent has flown home before the wailing and gnashing of teeth.

However, if this happens with BR still in post, then I will be wailing and gnashing with the best of them. at least for a day or two, before the glow of hope falls across me again as it does at the start of every new season.

I have little doubt that RedOhio is correct.
When we are bottom of the league for a couple of weeks or so, perhaps the minds of the beancounters will become focused.
Most people's thinking and actions follow a pattern that is often repeated.
Rodgers will repeat his pattern.

I am disappointed in the short sightedness of the owners.
RedOhio and I may be wrong, but I doubt it.

well I am probably one of the few people who is delighted with this announcement. Gerrard has been a toxic influence in the dressing room this season which is what set sterling off. I think we will get some good additions this summer and get champions league qualification. I think Rodgers will get one more season and if this is what he achieves he will stay, if not he will be on his way but I do think he will get a full season and not go in December,
