Edds which Italian signing was the best for Liverpool? I don't know why but most Italian players flop at Liverpool, m still investigating this matter though, is it the physicality of the Epl?

i am struggling to think of any italian that has really cut it the prem,

zola prob the best
ravenelli done it for a season.
the new kid at man united does look a good player ,but on the whole i think the pace of the prem is too much for guys who play in a far more technical league.

{Ed002's Note - Vialli, Silenza, Di Canio, Cudicini, Di Matteo and Carbone are some other examples. I would note that four Italians I can think of (Vialli, Di Matteo, Lombardo and Di Canio) have also managed premier league sides.}

There aren't many though at all, no top players from Italy come to the prem anymore, only pelle and darmian is in the Italy squad I think from the prem
