Ed001 what's your take on the transfer target situation? Is JK just getting in players to tide us over until the summer? Well if that's the case why doesn't he give some of the young bucks a chance? At your best guess Ed how many players do you see going in the summer? I see 4-5 going at the minute.

{Ed001's Note - this is just a case of seeing us through until he can offload and do a rebuild in the summer. I wouldn't be surprised to see double that leave.}

Though I don't see him selling Mignolet or finding a buyer that's willing to pay anywhere near what we would ask for Benteke.

I think very few of what we would call our first team will be left when Klopp has finished his rebuild. Mignolet, Can, Henderson, Moreno, Clyne and Firmino. I think these will be left.

We really do need a clear out. I'm going for Skertl, Allen, lallana, Sinclair, Benteke, bogdan, Toure, Markovic, ballotelli, Alberto, Yesil and possibly Sturridge. I think klopp will keep the young ones closer to the first team to see how they progress.
I think Migs has been kept on as this will allow Ward to make his way towards being number 1 in the next 2-3 seasons. Klopp can only be judged come another full season, maybe two when he has had the chance to bring his own squad together.

I think Lucas will stay, as will Coutinho (depending on whether he opts to leave himself) and maybe Sakho or Lovren and Sturridge too. I think most of the sales will be players currently on loan else where and some of the 'fringe' players. Wouldn't make sense to have a complete rebuild, plus the fact we have no money to spend on a complete overhaul.

I can see at least 10 plus players leaving on a permanent basis. Bogdan, Skrtel, Allen, Lallana, Toure, Enrique, Wisdom, Markovic, Benteke, Yesil, Alberto will all move on and probably some fringe young players like Texiera and Sinclair. That is close to 13 players and maybe even more.
There is a massive shakeup on its way in the summer and hopefully the above mentioned will fetch enough cash to bring in some real quality.

Lucas is just not good enough on a consistent basis. Far too prone to simple errors. When he's on for though we look a different team. We need a real quality CDM player to balance midfield. I think the midfield as a whole is a big problem. Not strong enough, offers defence very little cover and not productive enough. All these thoughts from fans are interesting but it will be fun to see our rebuild under Klopp. I'm looking forward to it.

I think Lucas is a very good squad player and a great personality to have at the club, he gets on with everyone and would be missed by all. Without him who would convince all the South American players to join?

I think Klopp really rates him. While we do eventually need a new CDM, I think Lucas is more than capable of sitting in there for a while. I think he will stay for another couple of years at least until the rest of the squad is sorted first.
