Hi reds,

I'm currently trying to buy 3 tickets for the man city game on the 2nd March, and so far am a bit stumped to what's best to do. I know that there are hospitality packages on the official website which I am absolutely thinking about, but I've also been looking at secondary websites and even websites like craigslist etc.

Can anyone give me advice about what I should do in this situation, eg what is trustworthy and what's not, and how I can get tickets? Or maybe anyone here with season tickets that they're not using that match or can help me buy tickets on the website?

I'm graduating this year from the UK and it's my dream to be able to visit Anfield at least once before I leave UK for good (with two other friends who are in the same boat)

Thanks and YNWA

Offering 20 percent discount on hospitality so use that. forget Craigs list. loads of rip off merchants. It's cheaper because it's mid week so you should get quite a good deal. Good luck.

Don't use Craiglist, bought tickets for the Watford away game and the seller was a scammer, £147.90 they took off me, no tickets sent.

Don't use secondary sites. The most affordable package is usually The Bootroom package. The club line is 0151 264 2222.

Definitely avoid Craigslist! I got burnt for £250 a couple of years ago. New I was taking a punt but will never do it again. Viagogo or stubhub I trust and have used for games abroad. Otherwise I would definitely go for the hospitality package, especially as it's a one-off for you- be good for a special night before you leave!

Thanks all for your responses,

Do any of you know which hospitality package is the best value? I don't have to necessarily go for the cheapest option, but just want to find a seat with good view etc!

On another note, what a game it was today!
