Ed1 do you know how Flanno is getting on with his fitness mate? Be nice if he can get upto match speed he could be a great player for us next season.

{Ed001's Note - his fitness is fine, it is just getting back to full mental capacity that is the issue. It takes time, months of being back fit before the player gets over the mental scars of an injury like that.}

To be fair wasnt this a reoccurance. i'm sure he has had this unjury before under daggers.

I think we should be proacive now and give him a fall back coaching contraft that comes in to affect if he has to retire early. One more of these injurys and he's not going to kake it i don't think.

Chillwell couldn't get into the Leceister side, and I've never seen him play, which is why I would put Clyne ahead of him. Is Chillwell that good? I would think at his age he would need a few development years before becoming a first team regular.

Got to be Chilwell and Flanagan for me as full backs! Flanagan proved in 13/ 14 what a talent he is and then I'd like to see Chilwell given a go if he's signed!

That deal does seem to be taking a fair bit of time though, it must be said!

I take it that it's yet another case of us messing about over the price Ed002 when we know what price they will accept? Why are we so stubborn over prices for so many players? Maybe one day we'll learn!

Makes u wonder eh ed, we stump up 30m plus for mane in an area we are overstocked. But quible over 3m for a position we desperately need to fill and with an excellent prospect to boot.

The same way we dallied over dele ali last season and look how that turned out for us. With the way the market is inflated because of the tv money what do they really expect, for teams to just flop over just because lfc is calling. We got 15m for a young english prospect in ibe so 10m for chilwell is about the market price at the moment imo. With the expected clear out we should be able to have a negative spend this tw if as expected we are just after two more players.

If we are in any doubt about the quality of any potential left back targets I'd rather we play flanno at left back and Clyne at right back. Would be a nice solid back 4 in my opinion.

Not particularly interested in marqee signings tbh ed, just the right players. We know klopp is after a left back and an other attacking midfielder so that's the two i'm referring to.

But with the emphasis now on trimming the squad, sales may well pay for the two players he wants. With benteke stalling on his move we may not get such a good offer from anywhere else, but it could have gone some way to recouping some cash to service the debts the club is in or offset the spend so far.
