Competing vs the big clubs on the pitch and will never be the issue as money doesn't win you games. Players, systems and tactics as well as some luck, will more often than not get you the victory as Leicester have shown. It is the midtable teams who park the bus that we need to beat on a consistent basis, to turn the corner.

Hamilton Leicester were very far from a midtable team who parked the bus. They had good defence yes, in midfield as much if not more than in the back, and a really devasting forward game. It was a real pleasure watch them play. Re money don't buy you tropheys, this is true about us, and about Leicester last year but if you look of Chelsea and City and compare them to 20 years ago, big money made big Differnce to their trophy cabinet. You do need great managers ascwell as winning mentality and good understanding of how to defend. Unfortunately we have only one of the three.

Wasnt rocket science tbh, ranieri adopted a counter attacking philosophy and bought the right players to fit the system he wanted to play. Something we have not done tbh.

He has then worked hard on generating an excellent team spirit within the group. Just keeps it simple, klopp can learn some lessons i think.

Money definitely buy the league as Leicester wouldn't win this year infact £150 mill spend City will win it handsome closely followed by £120 mill spend UTD and Chelsea etc etc. Leicester and Blackburn happens once in 20 years ( No disrespect intended to either clubs )

I think Klopp is trying to build a team spirit and ethos. That's why he's got rid of Balotelli and is very skeptical about Sakho. It may be why he's not rushed to buy any old left back, because technical skills on the field isn'the the only thing he's looking for. It could well be the reason he's patient with Lallana and wants to accommodate Milner, because they buy in to his ethos.

Sweet, City and Utd spent 150m each last season and one didn't even get fourth until the final day's fixture and the other missed out on top four all together and their manager got the sack. City was promised the PL last season for the very reason you just game and who won it at bend, again? Exactly. All I'm saying is that let's wait and see what happens. think we all know who, will be top four, don't think we will get a big surprise again this season, couple of the betting people have us finishing 5th, with the squad that we have, that's about right, but if we get the newbies settled in, we can pick up a lot of points in the second half of the season .

Red forever, actually, we don't because we said the very same thing last season and look what happened with LC and Leicester breaking into the top four and City capitulating and hanging on for dear life to get fourth. Even Arsenal finished second even tho many thought they could win the league (I wasn't one of them as they are perennial bottlers) . Not totally disagreeing with your post as you make other valid points in it. I just think we should just wait and see what happens.
