Hi eds and reds,

Just curious, if you had to choose, which "problem player" would you be willing to have at the club because the pros just outweigh the cons by that much?

{Ed001's Note - I can't think of one ever, even Maradona I would not take. Liverpool's greatness was built on teamwork.}

Suarez!

Thing is with Suarez, he's a pain in the arse but did he ever have an off game? Always gave 110% when on the pitch.

To be fair Maradona was out of this world, I mean he could literally summon the hand of God!

Rather have a front 3 of Kuyt-Torres-Garcia than Balotelli-Suarez-Diouf!

A team player with a good attitude is always preferable in my opinion. If winning means you have to be morally bankrupt then I'd rather lose, thanks. Not that a front 3 of Torres, Kuyt and Garcia would lose. In fact I would be pretty chuffed with that in their prime!

While in agreement with your sentiments mk I think you are very harsh on Suarez to put him in the same bad as the other
two named players who did not perform at any time for the club during their stay.
P, s, I think you write with a great deal of knowledge / common sense for a young fellow.
Marco.

I'd take Ronaldo. Disagree all you like he gets you a goal a game.

Messi over Ronaldo any day. Would come with his own unique set of problems though.

If forced to have a disruptive player it would be Maradonna every time. As close as you'll get to a 1 man team.

For midfield steel, wouldn't mind Keano. Dun give me stick for that but this guy gave everything on pitch.

Alonso and Henderson in the middle. Suarez and Firmino up top. There comes the title as early in April.

Mikem you do realise suarez racially abused someone then compounded it by deliberately not shaking his hand. The whole episode contributed to the sacking of the king, a man who deserves far more respect than he got from this generation of lfc fans.

When all the papers were bleating on about how suarez is still beloved by lfc fans this week it made me want to puke.

The only 'problem' player i would ever take off the mancs would be Cantona.
