Hey if anyone can answer or the Ed's that would be great have Liverpool tried making the kop a singing only I know some of the blokes on there have probably had there season tickets there for 30-40 years but it's killing the atmosphere around anfield the only time it seems to turn up is for the big games and that's great to give the lads that extra boost but in the lower games it is dead and the lads could do with that extra boost in games we can't break them down aswell it would just he nice to get the noise levels up again and move people not interested in singing into a different part of the stadium . just a thought that's all.

{Ed001's Note - there has been numerous discussions about what to do, but nothing has ever been decided that is worthwhile.}

I think the singing is silly. grown men singing out of tune. It's football not a choir.

Aha! I have always suspected it was more quiet these days at anfield and in the kop! But people keep saying its the microphones.

Anywho, i don't understand how an entire stand can become so mute due to "daytrippers" or friends not being able to sit together etc. There must be more to it obviously! But I would say a devoted section for younger fans or just those who will go to sing should be set up. And it needs to be a big portion of the stand. That yellow wall basically doesn't stop pumping no matter what is going on on the field. But anfield can be like a library a lot of the times and you can feel the tension. Must be the same for the players?

Singing at a football match is silly? Ever heard of atmosphere? The twelfth man? Mate you need to maybe go to a football match instead of just spouting nonsense.
