Question for ed 001/ Fellow posters
How much would it take for LFC to accept to sell Coutinho in your opinion?

{Ed001's Note - it would take him putting in a written transfer request imo.}

Thanks Ed
So how about a value as no player is indispensable and compared to some prices floating about nowadays maybe 80.000.000 is fair in my opinion.

{Ed001's Note - I really have no interest in talking about fantasy valuations. It matters nothing to me and I don't see what difference it makes to any of us. It is just random numbers that have no relevance.}

When you look at the prices being thrown around this transfer window, which are maybe double what they was last season, add to that the fact that the club doesn't want to sell, the figure has to be over £100m in my opinion. Even that would be only if the player forced the move.

No point in trying to get any banter going then?

{Ed001's Note - not with me on this no, it is just not of interest to me. Prices are just another random, pointless stat to me.}

On another topic i went to watch LFC play here in Oz vs Sydney and the tickets were $150+ AUD and today the press are broadcasting Arsenal have landed here to play the same Sydney team and all tickets are $49.Surely LFC are becoming more of a business than most people are willing to admit and less of a football club for the fans.

{Ed001's Note - very much so, the club lost its soul a long time ago, when David Moores took over.}

I was just remembering going into the ground as a kid which was 2 pound in the KOP and money never seemed to be mentioned or thought of as much as nowadays.

{Ed001's Note - I would be happy if money was no longer mentioned! Huddersfield have the right idea, keeping their prices down, rather than taking the chance to fleece extra money from the fans following promotion.}

Agreed Ed. The club has turned into a business more concerned with the profit/ loss column than anything to do with being a pillar of society. I can understand why Everton, despite their limited recent success, attract a large amount of support locally - they seem to genuinely be a part of the community; we seem aloof and, to put it bluntly, have our heads up our arse. I'd hope this changes moving forward but haven't really seen signs to suggest this from FSG eh.

I'm not been funny or been disrespectful but if lukaku is going for around 75 million little Phil should be going for around the 120 mark, I understand lukaku brings you goals but couthinho bring assists and goals and doesn't go missing in big games.

Europe is not because it the middle is winter in oz now and Arsenal are playing two games in Sydney- that's 180 thousand tickets for sale and 1 being a week night. Liverpool only played once so could charge a higher price- there were many tickets for sale at $49 for the game too. I opted for the $150 so I wouldn't have to sit with sydney fc fans.
