I don't know. I kind of feel sad for Coutinho. I would love to keep him, and to have the strongest possible side to challenge for the title. But the lad has given us his all in his time here, and I belive he has been told "just one more year! " a couple of times now, and yet we have achived him, just as he has achived us **** all in these years. He has been the sole star since Suarez left, and with Neymar sold this might be his last opportunity for getting his dream move for the next many years to come. It's about the human values and factors. Should we help Coutinho move on? The Eds says he is keen for a move, so what good will it be to keep him against hos will.

Bit naive there wer if you ask me. it is the boys dream and if the money is right it will be hard to tell him we'd block his dream.

I understand that but come on 5 yr contactsigned7 months ago I look at it this way yes he signed it yes it's wrong that we won't let him go but he signed it for a reason he was happy so knowone can say the club done it to get more money this summer as if that was the case they would of stuck a massive transfer on him at the time which they didn't.

Fair wer I personally think/ hope he will stay one more season, but Barcelona is his dream move and if as Ed002 has said Barcelona would not be interested next year could this be his one chance? If Barcelona cough up close to 120 million pounds we won't get that money again for him, transfers at that level won't keep rising imo so in that case could be very tough to keep him.
As you say though if the new deal had a release/ termination clause of say 120 million then it would put a lot of this to bed.

ShaneK Barcelona would probably still be interested if he has a great season and a good World Cup. In fact it could bring PSG and Real Madrid in to ramp the price ups.

His dream is to be a professional footballer and earn shed loads of cash. He can do that with us. No way I'm feeling sorry for a 20 something millionaire.

Shanek, Cou is actually not bothered as he is happy to stick around
here for another season even tho, his dream move will b to go to Barca. If he has a good season and a great WC, Barcelona will come back. Why? Their president has apparently promised the ultras that Cou will sign hence, the Spanish media is posting crap to get them all excited.

Actually shanek his dream to play for real Madrid it was done in a newspaper when him and neymar when they where young pal and to be fair if he does anything like he did last year there is no way Barcelona won't come back for him mate they can threaten all they want they will be back, keep him and let's see where we can go before selling our biggest assets.
