We have two young keepers who have shown potential to be very good - why persist with someone obviously not consistent enough over the youth who can compete already and potentially may end up much better? If we can’t get a De Gea at the moment then next best option is to see if we can develop Karius or Ward in the next 6 months.

Yes it’s a risk but It’s not as if Migs hasn’t made mistakes that have cost us points already.

karius and ward are not the answer. i'm sure karius is one for the future but ward is not
the club need to be looking at a top class established keeper in the summer. who is that though? i have no idea.

RD, Karius is 24 hence for the now and not the future. You want a top class established keeper right? So what happens to Karius? He becomes top class sitting on the bench?
Karius should be starting every game to see if he can hack it at our club till the summer. IF all goes well, great. If not then we review the GK situation in the summer.

First of all, Ward has shown NO sign that he is the answer as the kid NEVER plays and the Championship is NOT the PL so where people think Ward is the answer (w/ o him actually proving that at this level), beggars belief. Also, Migs is a none issue and he should no longer be added to this conversation. EVER.

As for Karius, No one knows if he is the answer until he gets the chance full time (not the CL games once every month), same for any GK. Many say Karius is one for the future. What future? He is 24 so why is he not playing now to actually see if he is the one? When is that future supposed to be? News Flash: Karius won't be here next season if this shananigans continues and no one will sell us their top GK and we'll be stuck with the clown once again. Brilliant! One cannot say he is one for the future while at the same time asking for a top GK that NO club will sell to you. Both of those cannot be correct.

Migs is done, end of. Karius' time is now and the trigger has to be pulled NOW so we can see what he has till the end of the season. Klopp messed up with Ward and he will carry the blame for that, big time. Karius IN!

BRover you state Ward is not the answer because he hasn't proved himself at top level then go on to say No one known if Karius is the answer until he gets the chance full time. Is it not possible Ward could be the answer if given the chance full time. From what I've seen Ward is the most comfortable out of the three at coming and dealing with crosses which is our weakest area in my opinion as the defence seem to panic with Migs which leads to mistakes/ goals. Personally I'd give both Karius and Migs a run to see what they're made of.

Merry Christmas everyone.

My opinion, Karius as number 1,with Ward as the backup till the end of the season.

{Ed0333's Note - my opinion Migs has pics of Klopp in a compromising position with a Banoffee Pie.
