Finding it hard to sleep lately thinking/ worrying about footy! Still, it's great to be in the thick of it at this point of the season with lots still to play for. Question for Ed001, mate, do you reckon JK will go full strength in midfield for Stoke? We only have 3 fit senior players, so it would be a risk, but missing top 4 could become a reality if we lose on Saturday. Tough decision. Reckon Ings and Solanke may play up top, but the middle is very thin. You reckon one or two of the academy players might start? Be grim if we get any more injuries. Thanks for all the work. Love it!

{Ed001's Note - their fitness will be assessed and most of the decision will come down to what the tests say. Personally I thought Hendo, who was magnificent last night, did show signs of tiredness by the end, so will probably need to be rested for the second leg. Maybe someone from the youth will get a chance because of that. I doubt it will be more than one starting, unless the tests reveal a number of fitness issues.}

With his pace, I think he could come off the bench in Rome and play there if he has to?
Football, and life, can give the much-maligned that opportunity for a redemption.
I would love to see the lad do it actually, he's taken some awful stick.

The main reason i was so gutted about those 2 late goals comes down to the fact that we are going to have to go full strength next week. We are down to our bare bones in midfield. Maybe TAA might get a run in midfield sooner than we think? I know i shouldn't be deflated after last night but i have this awful feeling that injuries will be our undoing in the end. Hope im wrong😣.

Sorry ed when you say you doubt it be more than one starting do you mean on the 3 that finished the game last night?

With you, IR. I am more worried about fitness and injuries to our senior players than the scoreline last night cos a 3 goal lead like it or not based on the circumstances, is still a huge mountain to climb for Roma jusging by the fact that we will be a threat to them all game in the away leg, WAY more than Barcelona was.
