What a team wolves are, top 5, into the knockout stages of the Europa league, they’ve been incredible the last couple seasons. Top manager and some top players imo, if teams like Leicester and Sheffield United are getting props then these guys deserve some too. I am wary of our game against them on Sunday, although we’ve had a days more rest so that may be a big factor in getting a win against them. I think if we get through our next 3-4 games relatively not phased then I’ll say we’re definitely winning it. 13 points with 1 game in hand, I mean, we’re dominating it and the second/ third teams this season are much better than the ones in cities 100point season. Currently, this is far more impressive than that.

Well done Wolves. That Traore is some beast, he could be a top player because at 23 he’s improving almost as quickly as he Runs at Defenders. We need to watch him at Anfield.

They struggled at the start to get the mix of Europa League and Premier League right but they have really stepped it up since then. I hope they get one of the Champions league places. If Lovern or Matip were to leave next Summer Conor Coady would be the ideal replacement!
Matt Doherty has been a joy to watch and the system Wolves play suits him perfectly.
The fixtures in January are definitely going to be tricky but if we are still 14 points ahead at the end of that month the league is pretty much done.
January has always been a struggle for Liverpool but hopefully with the addition of Minamino and Phillips it will create more competition and a desire to win!

I really like them. I have for a while now. They play good football. I think we will be just too strong for them.

Robbo needs to push up and I'd have gini on that side of midfield to push traore back.

Traore would surely be Up for premier league most improved player were there such an award. I remember mentioning him a few seasons back after watching him play live for Boro v Swansea. Ed001 you were correct in what you replied at the time saying something along the lines of has talent but end product and footballing brain not there and is not consistent enough. What’s your thoughts on him now please mate and what would you put his improvement down to?

{Ed001's Note - his end product has improved significantly but he still lacks intelligence. He makes the wrong choices far too often for my liking. When he does get them right though, he almost completely makes up for it.}

OP, the success of the likes of Nuno at Wolves and Wilder at Sheffield, show that a tactically astute manager can get results at the highest levels and does not need large investments to do it even tho, it helps. Sheffield and Wolves also have great team spirit which can only help a manager deploy his system and tactics.

As for Traore, he has improved over the years and is trending up at the moment. I do agree with Ed that even yesterday, his decision-making is still sketchy cos there were a few moments where he could have chosen a better oprion on the counter instead, he just ran into a cul dde sac. If he can put it altogethe esp. with the Usain Bolt-type speed he possesses, look out.

Cheers for the reply Ed001. Perhaps the saying fortune favours the brave is correct. He’s chancing his arm and luck is on his side.
