Sad news, and even if his disease makes him forget, we certainly won’t! YNWA.

If anyone can stay strong and positive in the face of this, it’ll be Terry McDermott.
He always played with a smile on his face and that sense of enjoyment and devilment, the facts that he was always winning and scoring worldies certainly must have helped mind 😀.

I mentioned it a week or two ago. Terry Mac scored the best goal I have ever seen Liverpool score live - the one against Spurs were he head the ball clear at the near post, ran a hundred yards and scored with a cracking head at the back post from Stevie Heighway’s left wing cross.

YNWA Terry.

Ironically it is the headers that are at the root of this problem too.
I think Burnley must have used about a month’s recommended allowance yesterday alone.
Dyche needs to have a rethink about his playing style I reckon, bloody dangerous in the long term?

A united fan here best wishes to the mcDermott family for their road ahead. What a great player he was for you guys in the 70s &80s I'm quite sure he won't be walking alone.

Tery Mac was probably my favourite player during that period. And being a jock I love Denis Law too.
So sad to hear that their next fight is with that awful affliction.

Thanks Ed014. Oooh, that's bad and he's still quite young. Hope he copes well and can fend it off.

Juicer, there's noises in some corridors about banning heading from the game, because of the long term effects and dangers. Will not happen soon obviously, but I can foresee a day where football will only be played with the foot.

{Ed014's Note - I don’t think there’s any fending Dementia off mate, it’s a nightmare.
