Anyone know what’s up with konate? Is he available for Sunday? He missed training with the rest but there are reasons he could be doing so. Can’t find anything clear one way or another.

{Ed001's Note - if Ramsay is fit I would play him and put Gomez at cb, that is if Konate and Trent are defo out. I believe both are taking late fitness tests, so it may be the question is whether to go with Gomez or Trent at rb. Personally I wouldn't take any risks with Trent and go with Gomez anyway, the fitness test would just be whether to include him on the bench or not for me. The full-back position in modern football usually involves the most distance covered, so not one to take chances on a half-fit player.}

Trent and Ramsay have no chance of being fit. Konate has a late fitness test. What about Robbo at rb, I think that’s our only option other than Nat Phillips at cb. If Milner plays rb I would be very fearful.

Either of Millie at RB vs Foden or Phillips at CB vs Haaland scares the heck out of me on paper. Wouldn’t mind Fab at CB with Gomez at RB BUT then, we need him at DM so let’s hope Konate can pass his fitness test before the gale. When it rains, it pours apparently.

LFC08 the club is doing what Klopp literally asked for so if you’re mad that Milner’s still at the club then, direct your ire to Klopp who wanted and convinced him to stay on half the wages to keep him. The club only did what Klopp wanted.

Also, I can easily guess that Milner is there as a last resort to cover for numerous injuries and to cover in Cup games. Well guess what? We have injuries now so he is an option. Not the right one for this game BUT an option since neither Trent, Ramsay, Matip norvprolly Konate will play today. It is what it is.

I’m not mad Milners still here. I like Milner.
But c'mon mate give up the act, the club has messed up massively.
We’ve no Midfield. We’ve no cover. Our back up players are not good enough.
We’re one of the oldest squads in the league.
Taking chances on injury prone players to save a couple quid here n there. It’s a mess and you know it is.
