Rumour : Leeroy Sane to replace Salah?

I have to say, I’d be in favour of this move IF Salah wants to go.
Saudi really have to break the bank to get a deal done.

Honestly if and when we lose Salah, I hope not yet, we should play a version of 442 with Dom tucked in from right, Diaz left to roam room left and Nunez and gakpo up top. Elliott can also play right, and Jones can cover across. in fact when the AFCON is on that might be my preferred formation. Also, Jota loomed very good on the left and previously did well on right. the players looked comfortable in this formation and better defensively too.

The last two games we’ve looked better (and more solid) with 10 than 11 players. I do like the idea of playing the double 6 and a 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1.

I think we revert to a ‘back 4’ when we go a man down and it just looks more solid. Good to see Joel, Joe and Jarell all go well.

Since the start of last season, I thought we had the players that suited a 4231, with Darwin coming in and Carvalho only really playing as a 10. Obviously this didn’t happen, but with us being heavy in attacking players and light in midfield players (especially sole operating Cdm’s), it could be worth a try. I would prefer it to the inverted fullback system myself.

It’s just a rumour, I’ve not watched Sane at Bayern - just clips - so I thanks for the info on him.
I was mystified when City sold him. He did seem to pick up injuries though.

Let’s hope Mo isn’t agitating for a move. Jota got the first assist but Mo assisted Newcastle’s goal if that’s what you meant Habibi.

Sane is decent. Ideal replacement for Salah. But can’t see Salah leaving tbh. Surely this wouldn’t be sanctioned this late? Salah is our headline act. Bayern also unlikely to let Sane leave. Crack on LFC and buy destroyers at CM and CB…like now!

Harry, Salah was not our best player last night neither did he set up both goals. Not surprised, tho. We had 8/ 10's all over the pitch and Salah did his part but best player? Not for me.

Now am I surprised about you sayin he was our best player? No way. You don't even watch LFC play nor do you even pay full attention on the odd chance you do watch us play.
