We have until Monday to strike a deal with Basle. Personal terms agreed unlike Chelsea.

Great fun to watch the shambles unfold at United. Moyes way out of his depth. Let the decline continue.

Strong rumours of Scott Sinclair coming to us (from twitter of course).
Makes sense in lots of ways -
1. BR knows him
2. Would cost similar to what we got for Downing
3. Young, and probably on lower wages than SD.
We need to make a handful of strong first team signings now to rebuild the squad. Hopefully he will be the first.

The writing looks on the wall re Suarez. Two new forwards in already, looks like we are planning for life without him.
Despite all the words about competition Reina looks gone too. Nobody buys a £10m reserve keeper.
I see it like this
Reina out. £10m. Mignolet in £10m
Carroll out £15m. Aspas and Alberto in £15m
Skrtel and Coates out £15m. Two CBs in £15m. (Llori is one)
Spearing and Shelvey out £ 10m. Wanyama in £15m
Suarez out £45m. Mkhitaryan in £22m
Still with cash over to see what can be done late in the window.
Not a bad window, but I would like another established quality player in with the left over cash from Suarez.
