Hi all, man united fan here from south africa.
I would just like to touch on a topic quick regarding the importance of getting things right in this period for liverpool f.c.liverpool is the second most supported club in S.A largely due the rich history but in the last decade clubs like chelsea and city have made significant progress because of there recent success and getting a lot of the younger generation supporting them.ofcos a lot of the kids that come from 2 generations of supporting liverpool will naturally grow up following the club.this is indeed a important time as football is a global game and financial success leads to succesd on the pitch.goodluck with the game tonight.
1.) We had Rick Parry when we won the CL. I believe he ruined our perfect commcial opportunity. It's been decline ever since.
I recall something like only 5000 replica CL winning kits or ltd edition kits? They also came out late. We could have sold 10 times that plus other merch worldwide, missed a sack of potential advertising/marketing situations.
Looks like FSG have the right idea, so fingers crossed but we need to win things
