Hi Eds & Reds,

I am really looking forward to the new season and in particular to the match next Saturday in the Aviva v Celtic. It's not often I get to see the mighty reds, but I am going to travel up to Dublin from Cork for it.

Anyways, the reason for my optimism is because this is the first time in years that we genuinely have quality competition in nearly every position. I also expect a couple of more signings to strengthen the squad defensively, LB and CB.

I think this season we'll see Stevie G really flourish. He's had to carry the team for many a season, now with Couthino, Sturridge, Aspas, if Suarez stays and Costa does come in, there is certainly a lot more creativity and firepower there than us just to be reliant Stevie G to carry us through games.

The return of Lucas is like a new signing, although I would like to see cover for him as well. Do ye know if we have interest in any players in Lucas's position, given that Coady has gone on loan, Spearing looks to be going. Also do you think it's a role Kelly could slot into if required? He's strong athletic, good in the tackle, great engine

Hi Eds & Reds,

I was just wondering could I have your opinion on a couple of things, given Pepe's impending loan move to Napoli anf that Carra's retired, who do you think will be made vice capatain(s)?
I think its between Toure, Agger & Lucas. Personally i'd like to see Lucas get it. Toure possesses the experience required and he's captained both Arsenal and citeh previously and his country. Agger also would be a good candidate and possesses the required characteristics.

Just in relation to Agger, would you agree that this season is pivotal in his Liverpool career, if he can mantain the same level of fitness and keep injury free, well will have a centre back in his prime, capable of going on for a number of years and finally get rid of the sicknote tag. Personally i'd start Toure and Agger.

Finally, we have an abundance of young talent coming through, do you think we could possibly do like Arsenal have done through the tears and use the League Cup to give the the likes of Ward, Ibe, Coady, Yesil, Robinson etc some valuable game time

Coady is on loan, and I expect a lot of players to go on loan this year. Players who play well on loan this year will be first team next season, aor sold if they have poor moves}

Hi Eds & Reds,

I was just wondering can you see Robbo been loaned out again this season or do you think he can push on and really challenge Enrique this season? I can see Flanno going out on loan to get some game time.

Also do you think Morgan & Yesil will get more game time? {Ed030's Note - I think Robbo will go out on loan personally,Yesil would have probably made some first team appearances last season but for the injury as I said earlier I don't see Morgan making it tbh. }

Hi Eds & Reds,

I was wondering do you know if we had any interest in Flamini of AC Milan, would provide good cover for Lucas, style of play would suit him, has plenty of experience.

Just in relation to left back cover, do u think Downing and Robinson will be used more as cover, given the number of attacking options we now have?

Now that Carra has retired, who do you think will get appointed vice captain? I think Pepe will get if he stays, but I think Lucas should get it.
