According to Riise's recent tweet no former players will be playing in Gerrards testimonial. He confirmed it will only be the current squad. Slightly disappointed but Oh well.

Alright everyone. Just been watching Oldham on the net vs Dinamo Bucharest and there was a mention that BR was there or certainly his representatives watching a player by the name of 'Marius Alexe'. It was held in Bolton so it makes sense.
Any news on this or the player.

Chirivella looks set. Just posted in the Liverpool sightings section. Whether it gets there we'll see but in the picture he standing with people and a suitcase but also looks to have a Liverpool top in his hands.
