Surely if we could splash out about £20+ million on Micky and £11-12m on Mignolet, we could have instead signed Jackson Martinez for between £25-£30m?
This could have been a bargain buy (considering the inflated prices these days) like Suarez was. Poor transfer policy once again. Imagine Martinez, Sturridge, Coutinho and possibly Suarez if he remained; top 4 quality. What a shame.

Just a quick question regarding Jackson Martinez. It's come in the news recently that he may be interested in leaving Porto. Are Liverpool interested? Surely some of the Suarez money could be spent on him? Proven striker (34 goals last season for Porto) and thus a perfect replacement for Suarez?
