All week I have been praying that we don't go and waste 30 million on Willian. I hope to god that he goes to spurs. seen Willian a few times and he has a tendency to drift in and out of games and also doesn't track back enough in my opinion. I don't see the sense in spending 30 million to bring him to Liverpool. Waste of money. Jordan Ibe has great potential, is younger and plays in the same position. I believe that Rodgers & scouting team have done an excellent job so far bringing in young technical skilled players with high workrate and energy. Aspas & Coutinho especially fit in this category. Surely there is a young player on their radar who will cost under 10 million that has the potential to be better (than Willian who will cost 30.)
I have a lot of admiration for what rodgers has done since joining the club. He knows what kind of players he wants and gets them young and at a good price. stick to this philosophy untill a truly marquee player comes along at the right price. Utd got Van Persie for 24 million. Hope we don't buy Willian.
