As frustrated with this window as everyone else. The frustration of not completing the deal is making all of us very angry. Still think we need to hear full story before asking for Ayres head! Not sure Kono's agents have done best by their client. The biggest frustration is that we are a massive club with a glorious past and a golden future, but right now we can't compete with the mercenaries and bank rolled plastics out there. Current players and managers need our support, only Manchester United strengthen in this window, so our realistic target at the beginning of January is still a realistic target now.

So this is what it's been like to follow united. Play crap and still top of the league! Really missed Johnson today, really weak on that right side. Also struggling to understand how we can hand over the initiative in games. Mind you makes up for battering teams and only getting a draw. Loss if Phil isolated Sturridge in the second half

Enrique had a good game yesterday, first half especially. He had their right back in his pocket. If this is what competition for places does, could we inquire about a right back?

Time to all get behind the team. I'm very proud of our club and what is trying to be achieved. There appears to be a hunger and belief in the team this time around. I think BR and FSG are trying to create foundations for the growth of our wonderful club. We may not get top four, we may have lost the ability to attract the top, top signings, but we are Liverpool with the best fans in the world (all over it!). So hold on to your seats, it's going to be one hell of a ride this season!
