Not sure about anyone else on here, but I'm starting to worry about BR's situation- he's fashioned a team that plays exciting, attacking football from a weaker starting position and a lower budget than rivals and taken it to the cusp of the champs league.
He always sticks his neck out for FSG but must be wondering what else he has to do to get them to back him in the transfer market. There's been some hits and misses in the transfer market but no team can give up making transfers and hope to be successful. He must be extremely frustrated.
If another big club offered him a role with a budget to spend and promised not to p*ss around with transfer targets surely he'd be tempted- I reckon Spurs or ManYoo would swap him for their managers in a heart beat given a chance.

Putting conspiracy theories to one side, the refs usually won't blow for fouls unless they're cast iron sure as they expect VAR to pick up errors. The problem is VAR won't correct the original decision unless this ridiculous 'clear and obvious' criteria is met. So VAR influences the original decision and then won't correct that in most cases.
Need to sort out what 'clear and obvious' means or the system will always be awful.
