Hi ed01 not a name that gets mentioned so much but Jorge Jesus of benfica what's likely to happen to him. As far as I can see he's not been linked to any of the vacant jobs but his contract is expiring at benfica. A good fit for us what have you made of him as a coach ?

{Ed001's Note - I don't know much about him, sorry.}

Hi ed01 if your around would love your opinion on benteke as a player and in particular how he compares to lukaku or bony who to me all seem very similar type players power pace good in the air decent finishers. I know you not a fan of lukaku and seen you mention bony as someone who should have came in last summer. How would you see benteke is he good enough or would he suit us. You said also that bony had the ability to play behind Sturbridge. I just don't see the subtlety in his play. Always find your analysis very informative

{Ed001's Note - Bony is nothing like Lukaku or Benteke mate. Benteke is big, strong, fast and powerful, more like Drogba than anyone else. Good touch too, unlike Lukaku. The problem is that, he tends to rely on his power and aerial strength, rather than using his pace to run in behind, which is Lukaku's main strength. Benteke is a battering ram, someone who will butt up against the central defenders and batter them into submission, when he should mix his game up and look to run in behind sometimes. If your tactics are direct, whipping the ball into the box at every opportunity, then he will score goals, but pass the ball around and he looks lost. That is why he suddenly returned to form when Tom Sherwood introduced long ball tactics to Villa.}

Sounds like a pairing of Benteke and Lukaku in a standard 4-4-2 would be pretty cool.
