I don't see why everyone is panicking about Suarez leaving and us not getting into the champions league. If you look at our team in 2005 when we won it. We had maybe 3 great players Gerard, hypia, carragher. But all the rest had good ability and a desire to win. Our team now has a lot more great players with Gerard still here agger, Lucas, coutinho, toure is still a great player, Sturridge is quality and I think I speak on behalf of a lot of fans in saying aspas has looked a decent signing. But not to forget that all these players are hungry to do well. We only have the league cup, fa cup and premier league to play in and we have a bigger squad than last year which will mean much more competition for places. So I say let Suarez go to whoever comes closest to our valuation and I will thank him for the amazing performances last season but in future don't she*p on your doorstep. The money we will get for him will help us add more quality to the players I've already mentioned and yet again more healthy competition. People may say I'm optimistic and I say they are right, there's 5 teams with new managers add to that the 3 new teams and we are in our second year with BR and we are getting better everyone can see it including mourinho so we should all be optimistic about this season.
Sorry for the long post but we have a lot to be happy about, just hope I'm right.
