As it stands
Rafa Benitez now of Napoli has an interest in Pepe Reina, M. Skrtel and Fernando Torres. He has told his board that these are the players he needs. Nothing will be done from Napoli regarding these players until the future of Cavani is sorted out which could take a while as no concrete offers have yet been made as many clubs have baulked against the asking price.
Reina will only be sold if Mignolet does eventually come in and a suitable offer is made. Liverpool are quite happy to have both players competing for the jersey but can only see one of them there at the beginning of the season.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan is now looking dead in the water due to
the increasing asking price and ownership issues.
