Hi Ed002, I know you said Liverpool probably aren't considering central defenders at the moment, but is anyone showing interest in Eder Balanta? I know he's been injured but has all the attributes to be a top player in Europe

{Ed002's Note - River Plate's Balanta is of serious interest to Juventus, Real Madrid, Galatrasaray and AC Milan. Napoli and, Caniggia, for Liverpool had shown interest when he was younger. He would need a lot of work before being ready to play at the highest level in Europe - as has been evidence by Doria's move to l'OM.}

I'm quite pleased to see Suso going to get some playing time in Spain, La Liga is generally regarded as a technically superior league to the Premier League, so he'll be gaining valuable experience in a style of football Brendan Rodgers believes in.
And for all those people who believe the physicality of the Premier League is more important than technique and honing an already clear ability, plenty of small statured players have succeeded in England after learning their trade in Spain.
Silva, Mata, Aguero to name a few.
Either way, if it's what Rodgers believes it takes to take him to the next step we can only wait and hope
