Rodgers just cannot keep that mouth full of pearly whites shut can he.

Ed's have you heard his comments about Sterling? Ed02. I know you have mentioned the Webster ruling. is he that stupid that he cannot side step a question asked of him instead of making a statement about Sterling being at LFC for the remainder of his contract or two further years.

Can LFC enforce this although I would not see the point in doing. taking that approach and if not is this another foot in
mouth case?

Thanks

Jon80

{Ed002's Note - I cannot account for what he has said - it makes very little sense at all.}

1.) 23 May 2015 12:42:41
Atleast he knows mathemathics, being 327% certain he'll be here next season and all.

2.) 23 May 2015 12:53:09
No, he can't. It seems his mouth is a seperate person outside his body, that he can't control. Three yrs with countless warnings from the owners to watch his mouth yet all we see is him not being able to keep it shot.

3.) 23 May 2015 13:30:20
I wouldn't worry Ohio he'll be off next week

4.) 23 May 2015 13:47:46
Nothing that a 1000 managers have said about players before. Not a big deal.

5.) 23 May 2015 17:11:22
If your bosses keep telling you to stop doing something and you think it's not a big deal, you'll be out of a job really soon just as your boy may well find out pretty soon

Hi Ed's

Just out of curiosity. You have explained on numerous occassions that FSG have handed the review regarding the management position to a third party. my apologies if that has been misinterpreted by myself.

If with this in mind, and the usual end of season meeting with Rodgers to go over the season passed. Also taking point of not making any "knee jerk reaction" on any decisions.

In your opinion. do the collate the information from the details they already have, along with the info from the third party and the end of season meeting then sit down to discuss the best way forward for yhe club. The options available should the decide to weild the axe on Rodgers tenure at the club and plan the best way to carry this out so they cause as little disruption and financial impact?

Jon80

{Ed002's Note - I have not said that at all.}

Alright ed02.

wanted your thoughts on something you have said. FSG have enlisted third parties to review the current managerial situation. I hope that's correct.

You explained that Klopp wasn't in their review currently. do you know who maybe in mind currently should they seek to wield the axe on Brendan.

I also read on your answer to the Klopp situation that Klopp has various options. One not at this time maybe L'pool. with Napoli and fenerbache who are interested. But you pointed out would these clubs want someone who isn't interested in the long term.

Firstly. Would you agree that many things including management in football are not long term?

Secondly. Do you have a understanding or knowledge of who Klopp's preferred destination club would be?

Thanks in advance Ed

Jon80

{Ed002's Note - (a) All club employees are transient in nature. But there is a difference between a guy taking on a job for one year as compared to three or four years. (b) Klopp will be considering his options. There are certainly two jobs that would be attractive to him - but this is not something for the Liverpool page.}

Hey Ed02.

I have seen you be asked on your preference a few times should Rodgers be replaced and name Schmit (spelling. I apologise)

Can you provide an insight as to why he would be your choice? What you know of him? and what you feel in your personal opinion he could do with the current Liverpool team and position based on what he is like as a coach/manager?

Also. what do you make of Depay? Is he simply a player with potential who would be a gamble for any team given his age etc? Or does he already possess the right qualities to be a hit in the premier league?

Your input is very much appriciated!!!

Thanks in Advance Ed02

{Ed002's Note - I answered a question asked of me, I really don't want to get in to rationalising that answer. Sorry.}

It's all about the question and to be fair to the Eds they share what they know. If I've read interest of a player somewhere, before I ask the Eds I throw the name in the search box. The Eds do a great job, let's not bother them with same repetitive stuff. By the way Ed, who do you think we should go for if we sack Rodgers? Just banter Ed, I've read the posts. A great site Eds thanks.

No worries Ed. Never heard of him so I was just trying to get some info!

My worry is from Macca you can a almost imagine the nose getting until Dec.

Would you hate him managing Chelsea in a few years lol

Hi Ed's.

I have a few questions I hope you may assist with. If a football club owner such as FSG thought they want a change but only if they could entice the right candidate first.

Can they approach a person or persons club or agent/advisor without informing the current manager?

The other part to this would be is it likely to leak to the current manager in another way by doing so?

I have to say that I personally hope Rodgers and his staff are moved on. I cannot see the benefit of giving Rodgers until Dec as Macca suggested although that is his opinion. If it doesn't work we could be looking at a further 18 months transitition.

thanks

Jon80

{Ed002's Note - That would result in a charge from UEFA - if Liverpool want to approach an employee of another club, protocol and the regulations dictate that you approach the club. Liverpool has owners who have gotten themselves a reputation as being disrespectful and I very much they want to make it worse. Planning on getting rid of a manager in December makes little sense as you would need to find someone for the short-term - and choice will be limited. Super Stevie Nicol will however be available.}

1.) 30 Apr 2015 18:07:55
There's no point of giving Rodgers until Jan , all it will do is ruin another season.

If fsg want Rodgers out it's got to be done straight away after the season (or before) giving the new manager time to asses the squad and see what changes need to be made.

2.) 30 Apr 2015 22:29:23
I'm not sure about liverpool spending more than Chelsea ed I know they got good money for players but they have paid pretty good wages to get the players they actually wanted and a lot of them came in for decent money so financially to even compare liverpool and Chelsea financially is a bit sad when they have a Russian billionaire who seems to love the club again and wants to play with his toy again but fair play to them deserved champions this year and very exciting to watch even if the arsenal fans don't think so.

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea have been making a profit in the transfer market the last couple of years - Liverpool has built massive debt whist struggling with FFP and haemorrhaging money. Chelsea's owner is one of the longest serving in the English Premier League.}

3.) 01 May 2015 00:14:24
Yeah ed what about Jose who respects nobody and arsenal with their 50m and 1 pound no respect there imo.

{Ed002's Note - This obsession with trying to make everything about someone else is truly embarrassing. I have no idea why you think any of this in any way relates to Chelsea, nor why you think Arsenal were being disrespectful when a Liverpool player, desperate to get away from the club, tells his agent to tell Arsenal what they need to do to buy him. As a Liverpool fan you somehow need to get away from this constant how hard done by Liverpool is whilst trying to deflect everything to be about Chelsea, or Arsenal or any other club you are jealous of.

Respect is an important part of the game and particularly important to the major players on the club front. Liverpool are no longer in that elite group and are not, under this regime, going to be welcome back in to it in either the short or medium term.}

Would you think he would be of consideration Ed01? After that is?

I couldn't agree more ed01. I believe FSG will remove Rodgers for the greater good of the club and team at the end of this campaign. I also think John Henry and his advisors will approach the right candidates at that time . hopfully Klopp.

Ed01 on another note. if you had to pick between Ings or Austin of QPR. who would it be and why?

Jon80

{Ed001's Note - Austin, he is the better player and he is not too much of a coward to step up when needs be.}

Hi Ed02

Not looking for your opinion on why you think he should get the job.

What is he like as a person and what qualities does he bring as a manager?

thanks

Jon80

{Ed002's Note - I have never met him but those who have like him. He is seen very much as up and coming.}

No Ron League. The fact Rodgers has to say it is the point being made.

Any normal person would have no need to bring that up and Rodgers constantly has this in interviews. I am sure it could also be termed verbal .

He continually loves to give himself a pat on the back whilst criticizing and deflecting any blame from himself.

Not only is this cringing to watch! It is downright embarrassing to our club.

I am not one to call for heads but Rodgers needs to go for the sake of our clubs reputation.
