So annoying reading all the negative posts, I really do not see why people have a problem with how Liverpool are being run. We are a business at the end of the day and if you just kept buying new stock and not selling your business would soon be filing for bankruptcy.
FSG are running us sensibly, ok they do not have endless pockets of money but they are bringing in the players that BR wants to suit his style of play. I am sure all these people moaning about the standards would still be doing so if we had rich sugar daddy owners who didn't go out and buy a messi or a Ronaldo every summer.
Eds I think you do a fantastic job having to buffer some of the endless questions on the same subjects. Especially the financial ones.
As for the rumours of Diego Costa, an absolute great player to have in your side. I watched him against Real Madrid last season and he did not give there side/defence anytime on the ball, he was constantly winding up players and giving them something to think about, ok he has a bit of a reputation but what passion to have it your forward line.
I really like the look of the signings, they may not be household names but they can hold the ball, are comfortable in possession and have a good pass. They also work hard which if you look at United over the last couple of season, they have not had the best team on paper out of the top 4/5 sides but they work so hard for each other and time and time again shows you that you need the right mentality not just the money.
Whoever comes in next will have been purchased for a reason, to fit a specific position and style of play and I am pleased that both BR, Ayre and the board are not out there just splashing the cash on any old 20m+ player and are actually working hard to bring in the right player to compliment what we have.
