Hi eds, just wondering if any of you know if Dr Steve Peters is still working for the club this season.
I remember hearing a a lot about his last year however have next to nothing this season.

Consulting a psychologist doesn't make you a flake - that sort of attitude to mental health and psychiatry in general is not helpful. You have a berth of information and intelligence which I completely respect ed002 but that comment is in very poor taste IMO.

Where did I say they all have mental health problems? I said consulting a psychiatrist doesn't make you a flake and that to imply otherwise is irresponsible, especially given the stigma associated with mental health issues.
I know your comment was off the cuff and in jest, but mental health is a serious issue that is still poorly understood and, in many cases, ignored and/or mistreated. I'm maybe making too much of a solitary comment and if that is the case I do apologise - it's just an issue very close to home.

Seano, it has nothing to do with mental health. He's a performance enhancer. If a player has genuine mental issue I'm sure they would get the correct treatment. The context in which the question was asked was surrounding performance not whether someone was dealing with their personal issues. Besides he was there when Suarez was there and couldn't help him through some severe issues!
