The most likely outcome for this window is that Rodgers will sign another garbage player (maybe billed as 'one for the future' for about 7 million quid)
Look at what he has brought in loan or full deal since he took over -
Allen, Borini, Assaidi, Sahin, Sturridge, Coutinho, Aspas, Alberto, Illori, Moses, Cissokho, Sakho, Mingolet.
How many of them can you call a TRUE success?
I would say only Sturridge. At best the 'next best' have big question marks over them.
1 out of 13 is a disgrace.
Can someone please tell me exactly what purpose the summer signings of Aspas, Alberto and Illori served? They cost more than 20 million and god knows how much in real terms when add wages on top.
Look back to saturday's game. we were chasing a win at 2-2 but he doesn't trust Aspas and Alberto enough to send them on.
At the other end we are as fragile as Humpty Dumpty post fall, but he is sending is 20 year old centre back on loan to Granada. Where Lucy Meacock is still being picked ahead of him!
