Can Liverpool stop hemorrhaging money and sustain a team which is competitive in the League and Champions League with transfers and wages for good to top players being so expensive.
Seems a catch 22 that to break even or make profit we need to cut back on wages, transfers or stadium plans but to remain competitive we need to spend on all 3. It's no coincidence that pundits, media and fans are saying United need a £200m splurge to compete for top honours again. Developing youth is perhaps an answer but look where that's got Wenger.
