before the transfer window ends I see suarez and skrtel leaving the club and I just don't know who we are going to buy to replace them. we can't attract players of their quality any more particularly in suarez' position. I mean it seems we have an amount of funding there which will be enough to get one top player at a reasonable price (around 25mil) but when we try to sign these players we miss out willian the latest example. so how are we going to get a top player of that quality to improve the squad and starting 11, get a top class replacement for suarez, and a top class replacement for skrtel? the simple answer is we are not. now I know i'm jumping the gun a bit as these players Havant left yet but if they do we are in massive trouble. I feel as silly as it sounds we are putting bids in for players that we know we won't get so that when we lose suarez we can replace him and say that we intended on getting a player before he left and him leaving is the reason we are a man down when in truth it will just be terrible, terrible business in the market from Liverpool again.
good start from the lads on Saturday but we won't compete for top 4 with our current squad and I fear it could be weakened rather than strengthened
